I'm Priscille, and my job is simple: I help you make safer, more confident decisions before you act. A contractor says your roof needs replacing today. A Medicare letter doesn't quite make sense. A text message asks you to click a link, or someone on the phone wants your banking information. Those are exactly the moments when I'd like you to text me — before you sign anything, click anything, or pay anything.

I ask a lot of questions. Always have. My family used to tease me for it — “Mom, why do you ask so many questions?” — but I never asked just to make conversation. I asked because I wanted to understand, and because understanding is how I take care of people.

I'll be honest with you: I'm a little skeptical of technology myself. Not because I dislike it, but because I don't think anyone should trust something just because it's new and shiny. So if you feel the same way, we'll get along fine.

What I care about is simple: that you feel a little safer, a little more confident, and never, ever embarrassed for asking me something. Whether that's a question you're not sure is “worth” asking, or something big you're weighing before you decide what to do — ask me first. I'm here for it.

I notice things. When someone doesn't answer, when something “doesn't feel right,” when a person on the phone is in an awful hurry to get your bank details — Mon Dieu, those ones especially. I'd rather ask one question too many than watch someone I care about get hurt.

And I'll always tell you the truth, even when the truth is “I don't know.” I'd rather check and get back to you than guess and get it wrong.
